BOOKING & DEPOSITS

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.

Your deposit goes toward the final cost of your tattoo and is not an additional fee.

Appointments are not considered booked until your deposit has been received and your appointment has been confirmed.

Deposits are non-refundable, including in the event that you change your mind about getting tattooed.

RESCHEDULING

I completely understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Your deposit may be transferred to one new appointment when the required notice is given.

Rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the loss of your deposit and require a new deposit to book another appointment.

Repeated rescheduling may require a new deposit for each appointment.

CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit.

No-shows will forfeit their deposit and may be required to pay a new deposit or full appointment fee before booking again.

If you do not show up for your appointment without contacting me, I reserve the right to decline future bookings.

Please communicate with me as soon as possible if an emergency arises. I will always do my best to work with you when circumstances are genuinely outside of your control.

LATENESS

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

A grace period of 15 minutes is allowed. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in your appointment needing to be shortened, modified, rescheduled, or canceled depending on the day’s schedule.

If your appointment must be canceled due to excessive lateness, your deposit may be forfeited.

Please do not arrive excessively early unless we have discussed it beforehand, as I may be preparing for another client.

DESIGN CHANGES

For custom tattoos, please communicate any major changes to your design as early as possible.

Small adjustments can typically be made during the consultation or before we begin tattooing. Significant changes to the concept, size, placement, or design may require additional preparation time and potentially a new appointment.

For flash appointments, the design will be tattooed as shown unless minor modifications have been discussed and approved beforehand.

FLASH TATTOOS

Flash designs are pre-drawn and pre-sized designs from my curated flash collection.

Flash tattoos are intended to be tattooed as designed, with minor adjustments to placement or sizing when appropriate.

Please do not book a flash appointment expecting a completely custom redesign. If you are looking for a fully customized piece, please book a custom tattoo appointment instead.

Flash designs may be tattooed more than once unless specifically marked as one-of-a-kind.

PRICING

Tattoo pricing is based on the design, size, placement, detail, and estimated time required.

Quotes are estimates and may change if the design, size, placement, or scope of the tattoo changes.

Additional charges may apply for significant design changes or additional work requested during the appointment.

The final price will be discussed before tattooing begins whenever possible.

TOUCH-UPS

Your tattoo is a permanent piece of art, and proper aftercare is an important part of the healing process.

Minor touch-ups may be necessary once a tattoo has fully healed. You may book a free touch-up within 3 months of your initial tattoo appointment.

Touch-ups resulting from improper aftercare, picking/scratching, sun exposure, or outside of the 3 month period may be subject to an additional fee.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Please do not come to your appointment if you are sick, experiencing a contagious illness, or have an open wound, rash, sunburn, or other skin irritation in the area being tattooed.

You must disclose any relevant allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical concerns that could affect your tattoo appointment.

Please eat beforehand and arrive hydrated.

You must be sober and free from the effects of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of your appointment. I reserve the right to refuse service if a client appears intoxicated or otherwise impaired.

AGE REQUIREMENT

You must meet all applicable Maryland age and identification requirements to receive a tattoo.

A valid government-issued photo ID may be required.

Please do not book an appointment if you do not meet the legal requirements to be tattooed.

GUESTS

To maintain a clean, comfortable, and sanitary workspace, I ask that clients limit guests to one person, unless otherwise approved in advance.

Children and additional guests may not be permitted depending on the appointment and studio setup.

Please do not bring anyone who is sick or exhibiting symptoms of illness.

PETS

For health, safety, and sanitation reasons, pets are not permitted in the tattooing area.

Service animals will be accommodated as required by law.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Please keep personal belongings to a minimum. Lia Lane Tattoos is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal items.

CONSENT & RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a tattoo appointment if I believe the client is intoxicated, abusive, threatening, disrespectful, unsafe, or otherwise unable to provide appropriate consent.

Tattooing is a collaborative process, and respectful communication is expected at all times.

PHOTOS & SOCIAL MEDIA

With your permission, I may photograph your tattoo for my portfolio, website, or social media.

If you do not wish for your tattoo or identifiable images of you to be posted, please let me know before or during your appointment.

BY BOOKING

By submitting a booking request and/or paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined above.
